EUROPEAN DIPLOMATIC ACADEMY

The European Diplomacy Academy under the aegis of the global think tank European Council on International Relations is the first and main vector of public and cultural diplomacy in Europe.

 

As a non-governmental, non-for-profit diplomatic academy in Europe, the EUROPEAN DIPLOMATIC ACADEMY is having the mission of shaping, sharpening and inspiring a new generation of enlightened international leaders.

The European Diplomatic Academy of European Council on International Relations  is in charge of the offering intellectual and research base for a common European policy, supporting the implementation of Sustainable development Goals Agenda across the world, supporting international organizations as Bucharest Conference on OSCE, Europe-Asia Conference and Parliamentary Assembly for Sustainable Development Goals (to name but a few) and to offer support for election monitoring mission of World Elections Monitors Organization.

 

 

In the field of training  European Diplomatic Academy main responsibility is to develop the system of diplomatic education and to organize training courses aimed to improve skills and knowledge necessary for diplomatic work.

The Academy’s activities include coordination, planning, implementation and evaluation of training programmes, cooperation with internal and external teachers, contacts with European and foreign partners and organisation of internships for European Council on International Relations (EUCIR) diplomats.

 

Diplomatic training is a combination of lectures, seminars and workshops, as well as e-learning and self-study. It responds to the specific needs of EUCIR foreign service while respecting the general standards of education.

​Since its inception in 2000 European Diplomatic Academy  offers the highest quality tailor-made programs at graduate, post-graduate and executive levels.

Renowned for its teaching methods, international faculty and distinguished speakers, the EAD prepares diplomats, civil servants, political and social leaders, as well as representatives of businesses, academia and the non-governmental sector for the challenges of a globalizing and ever changing world.
